Safeguarding and Protecting Children in Sport

In 2018 England Athletics introduced a new online safeguarding course for coaches. Coaches are required to complete this course and pass an online test in order to be able to renew their coaching licences. This will ensure that coaches are required to update their knowledge of safeguarding every 3 years.
